What We Look For:
We look for modernist works, which focus on
an experimental examination of the inner self,
and have a specificity as to geography, especially
the city. We define the modern work broadly,
as one that creates a world which is alienating
and hostile, or characters who suffer from a
sense of loss and/or despair.
Setting: Use
any of these cities Seattle, New Orleans, Newark,
Paris, Dublin, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Chicago
or any comparable urban city.
