On January 23, 1994, the SF Examiner estimated that there were over 3,000 "zines" published in the Bay Area. Today, that number has doubled. This is Visitations , a personal "zine" written and edited by Sonny Enkidu. Sonny grew up in a small mill town in Washington State. When he takes a job in Portland, Oregon, he discovers cyperspace.
Sara McAulay, my thesis advisor, calls it a UFO story. In other words, I don't know what it is, or what it will become, or whether it really is a story, and neither does Sara; therefore, it just might be hypertext.
