Mark Tate is a graduate of San Francisco State University with an MA in English with an Emphasis in Creative Writing. He has published three books of poetry and is working on a book of short stories, Cherry Blossoms on Lover's Lane and a book of poems, Meditations at Pineshadow. He serves on the Sonoma County Poet Laureate Selection Committee and is forming The Laguna Poetry Center. He lives near Graton with his wife and her mother and their four cats.
