Fleur Harrington

December Morning, #28, 2002
Fleur Harrington was born and raised in rural England, educated at the finest boarding schools where she developed her love of reading. She won the Runton Literature Prize in 1989, was named East Anglian Eisteddfod 1990, and the Banter Prize for Fiction in 1993. Since 1994 she has lived in the United States, and has settled in South Central Kentucky where she lives with her husband and three children, and operate the family farm. Fleur hopes someday to have an agent, so that she may finally have published some of the hundreds of stories and poems that she has amassed, until that day she says, "I enjoy being anywhere and creating a story about the people around me, who they are, what they are saying, why they are here - it makes life very interesting!"
