"Each day demands that I write and that my fingers touch and feel the earth." Barbara writes prose and poetry, and is a regular performer at Live Poets' Poetry Slam evenings. The natural environment, politics, peace and women are the main interests and themes. Her poems have been in print and on local, community, national as well as internet radio and various literary e-zines including flashquake, triplopia, lynx, triptych haiku, sinister wisdom and the salt river review. Barbara writes from her adopted home in the sub-tropical Rainbow Region of New South Wales, Australia, where inspiration, peace and freedom to create, comes from the serenity and physical beauty of this special area.
