Some friends of my parents bought a RV after they retired. They had never left Washington State during
their marriage.It had been their dream to travel across the USA stopping in every state. So, when the told
them that it had autopilot, they decided to spend the extra money. They left Seattle in September, just
before the rains started and headed east. After several hours on the road, the man got tired, set the
autopilot, and went back to take a nap. However, he had misunderstood the salesman. The RV had
cruise control not autopilot. Needless to say, the RV ran off a cliff ending their dream.
